BUSINESS TRIPS
Business trips paid with PhD funds must be previously authorized by the Coordinator, the Department Director and the Department Secretary. This bureaucratic process concerns the period before the trip. Upon return, the PhD student will simply submit the necessary documentation for the settlement of the trip to the Department Office. If the stay abroad exceeds 20 days, the PhD student is entitled to an increase in the scholarship. If instead the period exceeds SIX MONTHS, the stay abroad must be authorized, in addition to by the Supervisor, by the Faculty Board/Executive Board.
PERMITS FOR WORK ACTIVITIES
Any work activity of the PhD student must be approved by the PhD Board upon request of the PhD student sent to the Coordinator and accompanied by the Supervisor’s approval. The Executive Board will evaluate the compatibility of the work activity with the PhD program. For PhD students receiving a scholarship, the annual income must not exceed the annual amount of the scholarship.
